Similarly to the commercial production of recycled bar soap project, students will engage in the analysis of the formulation of recycled liquid soap that has been developed by mixing the collected used soap bars with specific chemicals in order to be utilized as liquid soap. This idea has been developed by a group of ladies in the local community, however, they are having problems stabilizing the soap solution generated by their current process as the shelf-life of their current formulations is less than 3 months. The team working in this project will be working on developing a blend that will allow for an improved shelf life of recycled liquid soap
