To assist grade 12 learners applying to various tertiary institutions (with financial assistance) in the Western Cape. This project will create a chance for the Grade 12 learners to apply to the surrounding universities and colleges.
The project works in conjunction with the Career Expo, and takes place one week after it. The project will divide students into groups after first being evaluated on their academic results. After learners are evaluated they are informed on which course best suites them and their academic results. They are then sent through to the next station. Each station will represent a tertiary institution (CPUT, UWC etc.), where we will have volunteers assisting learners filling out their application forms.
The project will have additional stations for scanning documents and police certifications.
