We wrapped up 2024 with an unprecedented number of responses to the call for new board members and are pleased to announce that Noma, Jason, Paul and Irshaad will be joined by the following world changers to form the EWB-SA board.

Thabile Dube
Thabile Dube is currently serving in the Senior Management of Goscor Group – Earthmoving Equipment Division.
Prior to joining Goscor Group, a subsidiary of the Bud Group, she headed the Key Accounts Division at SANY, a Chinese Owner of Equipment Manufacturing. Thabile has been in the earthmoving industry since 2013 for various multinationals.
She holds a Masters in Business Administration Degree from Wits Business School and a Bachelor of Arts double major in Psychology and Business Management Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand where she was recognized as a top-performing 15% student which saw her being admitted to the Golden Key Honorary Society. Her “WHY” was crystalized in the Women in Leadership Development Program
She was nominated to in 2017 and in the Strategic Leadership course which was part of the MBA program. Family and living a wholesome life remains a cornerstone of Thabile’s life. Her sons have two dogs: a Great Dane and a Dachshund cross. She enjoys Boxing, Golfing and Travel.

Abdul Hamid Seedat
Abdul Hamid is a qualified Chartered Accountant who obtained the highest marks for auditing countrywide in the Final Qualifying Examination – CA(SA). He is a widely experienced, versatile, and trusted finance and audit executive in the financial and regulatory sectors who has experience in working at reputable institutions in a multi-cultural environment across different jurisdictions. Having worked in the finance and audit functions, Abdul Hamid has gained extensive and diverse knowledge, experience, and skills on all areas of business operations including Information Technology Systems.
Abdul Hamid has built strong relationships of trust and respect working with CEOs, Boards and the Audit and Risk Committees and has provided on-going advice on the design and effectiveness of Risk Management, Strategy and Governance including Regulatory matters.
Some of his significant achievements have been the detection of several frauds; and cost-savings on the implementation of new projects and ensuring their timely delivery which were critical to the business operations. He also established a fully-fledged audit function benchmarked to best practices.

Sipesihle Mankahla
Sipesihle Qukeza Mankahla is an accomplished leader with over 12 years of experience in South Africa’s built environment sector, bringing extensive expertise in managing large-scale, complex construction and infrastructure projects.
She holds a Master of Science in the Built Environment (Project Management) from Nelson Mandela University and a BTech Degree in Construction Management, equipping her with a deep understanding of construction processes, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Sipesihle has completed the prestigious Global Executive Leadership Development Programme at GIBS, demonstrating her commitment to innovation and strategic governance. She is the Chairperson of Built Environment Matters Stakeholder Engagement Forum and a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA). Her professional registrations include PrCPM – SACPCMP, PMP-PMI and PgMP-PMI.

Munei Tshiovhe
Munei Tshiovhe is a Corporate Partnerships Manager with demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivating and maintaining donor relationships, and leading the development and submission of grant proposals.
He successfully raised over R250 million in funding for UCT Online High School, building and nurturing relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other funding sources to secure financial support and sponsorship opportunities. He is experienced in identifying and forging strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations, government agencies, and community stakeholders to leverage resources and maximize fundraising impact.
Munei is also a startup founder, bringing a depth of hands-on experience in business development and new market expansion.

Hloni Mphahlele
Hloni Mphahlele has a diploma in Public Relations and Business Communications from Damelin obtained in 1992, a certificate in Accounting from Wits Technikon obtained in 1993, a Management Development Programme obtained at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in 2005 and a Diploma in Wealth Management obtained in 2006 from Intec College and a Bachelor of Business Administration qualification obtained from Regenesys Business School in 2016. Recently attained a Post Graduate Diploma in Practice Management from Henley Business School, a B-BBEE Management Development certificate from Wits Enterprise and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Management.
She is the sponsor of the AF Diversity and Inclusion Forum, a committee member of the ASISA Transformation, Skills Development and Education board and is passionate about passively impacting societies.
He holds an Honours degree in Public Policy and Development Studies (UKZN), Bachelor of Social Science degree in Sociology and Political Sciences (UKZN), Postgraduate Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation (FPD), Advanced Certificate in Project Management (NWU) and Certificate in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (SACAS).

Mxolisi Buthelezi
Mxolisi Buthelezi is an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation professional who has over ten (10) years of work experience in the Monitoring and Evaluation sector. He is currently a Director: Organizational Performance Management at the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality.
Before joining the City of Tshwane (CoT), Mxolisi worked at the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) as a Deputy Director and worked as a Practitioner: Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation at Agribusiness Development Agency. His core competencies are providing strategic direction and leadership, monitoring and evaluation, people management, planning and organizing, analytical and innovation.
A seasoned Consultant, with her experience ranging from healthcare, pension fund administration and Multinational Consulting in African employee benefits. She has served as the Managing Director of the Alexander Forbes Financials Services pension administration business in Zambia, a Client Coverage Executive and currently is the Group Head of Transformation.
