    Wiki Night #2

Who ever comes is the right people.

Whenever it starts is the right time.

Wherever it happens is the right place.

Whatever happens is the only thing that could’ve.

    When it’s over, it’s over.

Momentum 94.7 ad (Neha)EWB-SA has been accepted and approved as a charity for the 2014 Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge!

All you have to do is go to the 94.7 Momentum Cycle website and register for the race. Then, when it asks you to pick a charity you pick Engineers Without Borders South Africa and it will come through to EWB-SA to add you to the team. If you struggle with it simply register for the race and then send Neha Patel an email (neha@ewbsa.org) and she will then add you to the team from her side.

Our first WikiNight kicked off on the 27 Feb 2014 at 6pm by the Brazen Head Sandton, Johannesburg. We had four different table discussions.  At 8pm we wrapped up the session by summarizing what each table discussed. A lot of feedback was given to EWB-SA  from the attendees as well as commitment to help with EWB-SA. Another great outcome was from the table topic Ventures whereby a workshop event was formed by one of the attendees with EWB-SA.

Thank you to those that attended!  The next event hosted by EWB-SA will be a Think Tank in March.

If you are not sure what a WikiNight is please click here to read more or contact us for more information.

Thank you EWB-SUN (Stellenbosch) applicants – you all sound wonderful! Please check your email for the outcome of your application to be part of the chapter initiation committee. No matter the outcome we would always love to work with you in future importunities.

In December we spoke to interested students from UJ that are keen to get EWB-UJ going.
